1.We, on behalf of LAC and the ATNC Network Secretariat, express our solidarity and support for Samsung workers.

We condemn Samsung as one of the worst corporations, with its abusive labour practices and union repression. We demand justice and compensation for the victims of Samsung semiconductor factories who died or are ill from working at Samsung. We demand Samsung to take full responsibility for the dead leukemia victims!

We support the rally of Samsung workers and stand for any workers' action against the unscrupulous company.

우리는 노조를 탄압하고 폭력적인 노무관리를 자행하는 최악의 기업중의 하나인 삼성을 비난합니다. 우리는 삼성에서 일하다 직업병에 걸리고 사망한 삼성 반도체 노동자들에 대한 보상과 이들의 희생에 대해서 정의가 지켜지기를 원합니다. 삼성은 백혈병으로 희생당한 이들에 대해 전적인 책임을 져야 합니다!

2.The Ecumenical Institute for Labor Education and Research (EILER) fully supports the fight of Samsung workers in Korea and in other countries were Samsung is exploiting its workers. Samsung should be nominated as 2012 Worst Corporation of the Year Award under the Public Eye Nomination Award (http://www.publiceye.ch/en/)to spread to the world how Samsung violates labor rights and pressure the giant corporation that we do not tolerate labor rights violators.

노동교육 및 연구를 위한 에큐메니컬 연구소(필리핀 소재)는 한국과 다른 나라에서 노동자들을 착취하고 있는 삼성에 맞서 싸우는 노동자들의 투쟁을 전적으로 지지합니다. 삼성은 ‘공공의 시선상’에서 선정하는 2012년 최악의 기업상 후보(http://www.publiceye.ch/en/)에 반드시 오르게 되어 전세계적으로 삼성이 노동권을 어떻게 침해하는지 알게 되고 더 이상 노동권 침해를 묵과하지 않겠다는 압력을 받게 될 것입니다.

Our warmest solidarity greetings from the Philippines!

The Filipino workers, especially the workers in the export processing zones in Cavite & Batangas, are one with you in your struggle. We are facing the same enemy and struggle and what we want to tell you and share with you is this - never lose hope even in times that you think it was so diificult and you thinkthat they are winning against you.bear in mind that you are not alone in this struggle.

Years ago it was never like this. But now, people are starting to know how hideous this big capital called "Samsung". Your struggle is known by the workers and we are inspired by yourstruggle. Do not give up and keep up the fight and the struggle! Long live the workers of Samsung and all their supporters! Long live all the workers of the world!
